Ahhhh....no pink!

Before I get stoned because of the "No Pink" title....I love pink....I've just been using pink on everything lately. When I went to our SOS meeting today, I was determined to use anything but pink, and I was hoping that I could be inspired by yellow dp. Between the Mojo Monday Challenge and Karen's designer paper....I was inspired!
I used stock papers in white, brown and green. The dp is Jillibean Soup - Yellow Sugar. It's double sided and both sides worked well on this card. I used a Martha Stewart border and a branch punch. The flower was made using Spellbinder Dahlia Nestibilities, the center of the flower is a brown pearl. Thanks again Sherry for the video! I used the rectangle and the square Spellbinder Nestibilities to frame the sentiments. While wandering through Paradise Scrapbook Boutique, I found something new... Flower Stick Pins by Little Yellow Bicycle. Pretty cool, I think!
When I started designing this card, I wasn't sure if I would like the finished project....but I do, I really do. I think the matching flower really turned out nice and it added the touch I was hoping for. It's yellow for today.....pink tomorrow....maybe!
I am entering this card into the Mojo Monday Challenge 134. and PPA37 - A Theme Challenge and Pile It On Challenge , and yet another Die Cut Dreams Challenge , The Pink Elephant Challenge (and me without any pink this week...)
Wishing everyone a creative week.
