Rudolph Day

I told myself I would not miss Rudolph day this month and guess I am!  A busy day today and tonight is the first game of the World Series and our San Francisco Giants will be winning Game 1....(or at least I hope they will!).  So, here's my Rudolph Day entry.  I actually rubber stamped.  Can you believe it?  I guess there is hope for me!  The stamp doesn't say the name, but says Petaluma CA, which makes me think maybe PSX.  The moon, was made using the cut out from a circle die I am using for my November class.  I used it as a mask and using Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Lemon and Rusty Hinge to make the moon.  The sky is sponged using Stormy Sky.)  The Reindeer is my newest Memory Box die, the poinsettia is a left-over from a card I made earlier.  The papers are CartaBella snippets from earlier albums and layouts.  Still using up my scraps from albums and layouts I made using CartaBella papers.  Di, here's another snippet card....check out all the other cards made from snippets.  I think you'll enjoy them as much as I do.  Check them out here.

So....until next month (if I remember) Happy Rudolph Day and thank you Sarn for hosting.  If you want to play along and have a chance to win a Penny Black stamp....check it out here

See you soon....

  1. It looks great...well done to use snippets...I love when I can do that.
That reindeer die is gorgeous...Looks great on your card.

  2. Fabulous Mary - have added your link for this into the Playground! Hugs, Di xx

  3. Super festive card for Rudolph Day Mary. Loving your inky backgrounds and your pretty new die.

  4. Wow this card is awesome Mary! I think I need you to teach me how to stamp and make a card!! Love, love it!

  5. Hi Mary, I would love the link to the youtube video! I tried to go through your email but I guess I don't have the same program and couldn't get it to open without setting up something. Thanks!

    1. Brenda, this will be in a kind of code, hoping the phishers can't figure it out. Here goes:
MagaliaSoapLady at sbcglobal dot net. I hope this works for you.

  6. Love all things PSX and Memory Box too, so this one's a winner to me!!! Love how you did your sponging...I'm working on that technique. Yours is beautiful. Your tree & leaping deer are so pretty, fabulous used together. Great inspiration as I have the deer die, and can find a tree (maybe it won't be PSX though!!!! LOL). TFS a lovely card.

Thank you for spending time visiting my blog. And thank you even more for your comments. I LOVE reading each and every one of them. Happy creating!
