It's All About Her

Yes it is...It's May and Mother's Day is just around the corner.  The Poppystamps Challenge for May is all about her.  So, it doesn't have to have a Mother's Day theme, but it does need to be something femine.  Well here's what I made.

This card was so much fun to make.  A tri-fold, but a bit different than my previous tri-fold cards.  It's a perfect card for a very special friend.

I'm going with a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are my thousand words.
Here's the how too.  The card base is 6x12, and I scored it at 3 and 6.  The sentiment is rubber stamped on vellum and then heat embossed.  The Window frame was die cut and them dry embossed and then inked.  I've never done this method before, but I will be doing it again.

And here's a better look at the inside of this card....
The papers are from Blue Fern the Montage collection.  They are gorgeous!  The dies are Poppystamps and the window die, my new favorite, is the new Poppystamps window.  It has 2 panes, which make it easier to place your graphic.

You have a chance to play along and I hope you do, because I love seeing what everyone is making.  Head over to the Poppystamps Blog page to find out all the particulars.  I will be checking in to see what you've come on....Play along it's fun and this month is a good chance to use ribbon, dies and bling....Which makes it a perfect month.

I'm off to play in my craft room....I hope this week will give you time to play!  Until next time....

Hugs from me to you,
Mary Mac
