Tuesday was my day to teach at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique. I've been trying to teach one Christmas card a month. That's the groups idea of how to have cards done by Christmas. This month I taught a Twisted Easel card, with two twists. The class really liked the technique and Virginia LOVED it. Long story short. I had a problem sleeping last night (probably excited that my computer was coming back home today) so, I got up and decided to make another twisted easel card. This one is smaller the folded size is 3 x 9....I wanted to show it to Virgina at Weight Watchers....I finished it, she saw it, and I'm excited to see what she creates!
I am always asked about the tennis balls on my desk. For those who are new to my blog page.... they are to amuse my Doxie while I create. She can be quite the pest and if I throw a tennis ball, she stays busy chasing the ball and I stay busy making cards. If you check my older posts, you'll see Sydney..... If you want to see her photo....check out Wednesday - March 9, 2011 post.
I'm off for now....a big weekend of crafting at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique. Friday until mid-night, back again on Saturday at 10:00 and we'll be packing up to head home on Saturday at mid-night. It's always fun to spend the weekend with the girls and the food, new product, and surprises are ALWAYS so much fun. This will be the last weekend crop at this location. Karen will be moving to a bigger building in August......There are lots of great memories in Karen's shop, but I look forward to all the new ones that will be shared at her new location.
Off I go, dinner is almost ready......Have a great week....I'm hoping to stay virus free for the next week....actually for always. If any of my local followers need a GREAT repair person....give me a call.
Hugs to all,
Mary - AKA Glitter Grammy
