Merry Christmas One and All

I'm posting on the PoppyStamp Blog today.  If you'd like a tutorial... here's the link.  I wanted a card that would not only be a card, but could also be used as a decoration.  I've added a battery operated votive candle and this see through card is a perfect addition to any mantel.

Happy Thanksgiving

I love Autumn and I am a child at heart when it comes to kicking my way through a pile of colorful dry leaves.  Thanksgiving is my most favorite holiday.  It's when family and friends come together for no reason other than to be together.  My card today is shared on the Poppystamps Blog.  If you'd like to see this card in it's entirety, you can see it here. 

This is a short post.  I'm spending time with my daughter and her husband....In one of the most beautiful cities in the US - Chicago!  So, off I go to play.

Update:  I was just popping around the world wide web and realized I'd not visited Ms. Valery and she is one of my very favorite stops.  While checking out her site, I realize....my card would fit this challenge.  I love these summer colors, cantaloupe says summer to me and the pastel green reflects the coolness of the morning time.  If you have a summer themed butterfly card, how about entering this challenge.  There is always inspiration fluttering around.  Tell Valery I said hi!
