Yes it is Wednesday and that can mean only two things...."Hump Day" for those who are slaving away at your day job and WOYWW 142 for this ole retired gal. So here's my workdesk
So what's this? My son's birthday card is hidden under the blue cloth. I'm not sure he reads my blog, but on the off chance he does.....he'll see it next month. Well, since this isn't so exciting, I guess I'll share something I purchased this week. I was at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique on Monday and Karen's first CHA order arrived....it's Anna Griffin papers. I love them! These are the ones I purchased:
I love the florals and the stripes go so well with them. But look at this:
I wish you could feel them....the embossing is wonderful and the papers are amazing. I doubt these two will make it to a card....this is hoarding material!
It's mid-night here in northern California, I think I should think about putting my computer to bed and head that way myself.
Have a most wonderful week. I'm hoping to spend part of tomorrow checking out all the great desks at Stamping-Ground. My son's birthday is March 4th...I'll put his card on my blog as soon as he sees it.
Hugs to everyone....Glitter Grammy
It's funny when we buy something we know we are going to hoard and then a year from now we will be talking about using up our stash cause it is over flowing! lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina at 3:47 in the morning :)
ReplyDeleteSandee, I tried to comment on your blog and had a problem doing so. I just wanted to say, Happy Birthday, love your blog and I'll sign up as a follower as soon as the "cyber gremlins" are gone. :-)
DeleteThose new PP's look fab, especially the embossed ones, I can see that they definitely need some stroking before using them :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great WOYWW and a fab week, Luv Karen xx
I am so with you on the hoarding thing! That paper looks too yummy to use. Just put it near you so you can stroke it every now and then...
ReplyDeleteThose Anna Griffin papers are really beautiful and would be perfect for my family heritage album that I’m making. I sometimes find her papers are a bit too floral for me but these are really lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy Crafting!

ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comment on my blog. Yes, I am very pleased with the butterfly project as it was the first really decent thing I've made with my new Cougar cutting machine. My sister loved it when I gave it to her yesterday!

A little late visiting.. I'm a paper addict so I enjoyed seeing yours thanks
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit late in visiting, but you have a great workspace. It can be difficult with featuring cards for family members. My Mum & DH both look at my blog.
ReplyDeleteLoving those papers, but I would try not to hoard them, they would make a great mini album. Can't wait to see your son's card. joynana #170
ReplyDeleteThat's a tease not showing your son's card but I love those papers.
