Happy Anniversary Kevin and Darnell

Happy Anniversary to you, Happy Anniversary to you....HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DARNELL AND KEVIN....Happy Anniversary to you!  I'm sending wishes for many, many more wonderful years together.

A playground pal, my lips are sealed until she reveals herself,  suggested we add our wedding photo to the, here goes.  This photo is from 1982.  Of course I look just the same today, ok, maybe not.  Richard said the good thing is we have both "matured" together.....
If you have a minute, please pop over to Darnell's blog page and wish them a Happy Anniversary.
About the card, I've used snippets, so Di will be getting a link to this card, I was thrilled to find this Melissa Frances card stock, I'd forgotten I had it.  I really do love how this card turned out.  Snippets are such a salvation sometimes.

Another big event happening on this oldest is having a birthday, so....Damon, I'm sending much love and birthday wishes your way.  Happy Birthday Damon!  I hope the card I made him makes it to him in time.  Seems our mail service is sometimes a bit, this is what you'll be getting and there is a little something inside.
I love the new dies from Memory Box.  Since my son is in the music business, I think I'll be using them often.  The knot is a sailor's double hitch and it has been on my bucket list for sometime.  With help from Richard, I was able to tie it very, will I remember how?

And last but certainly not's my desk for WOYWW.  Not a lot going on, I'm working on a card for my February Card get-together at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique and playing with foil and oh trying to clear off enough of the desktop to accommodate my new pen holder, which should arrive today.    I know, that's what I said yesterday!
Until I see you again.....Happy Crafting!

  12. Wow, such a beauty of a card Mary, I love how you make patterned paper work for you. I see your wedding photo in the light booth and a bowl of Hershey's kisses too! A very romantic post all round!! Your wedding looks tropical, perhaps just by a pool somewhere in California. You must have had a lovely day.

  17. Well, my goodness, Mary, where to start?!

I want to first wish a happy belated birthday to Damon and say I hope he doesn't mind that he got second billing on your post! I'm giving him top billing on my comment to even it out! His card is awesome and how handy that you have Richard to help you with such a fantastic knot!

Second, I'm sorry I didn't come by sooner. I took some time off to actually celebrate with Mister, and I'm slowly making my way through the fantastic links over at Ardyth's.

Thank you SO much for your sweet wishes to me and the Mister and making us headliners on your post! We've been quite overwhelmed by the outpouring! I love your card! It has just the right balance of glitter (of course) and softness. I am pinning it on a special Pinterest board I've set up for all our lovely cards!

Thank you so much for joining in the fun and linking your sweet wedding photo over at Ardyth's! It's been a thrill to see the pictures and get to know people better. And in your case, I'm so delighted that the photographer didn't fall out of the tree! I'm happy that you two lovebirds could afford such special photographic design layouts back in the day!! Impressive!

Finally, lovely desk and room, as ever. There seems to be quite of lot of cleared off area so I must ask: just how huge is this pen set you've got coming???

I don't see our blogs on each other's profiles, don't know how that happened, but I've fixed my end. Thank you, again, Mary! I'm so touched! Darnell #64

Thank you for spending time visiting my blog. And thank you even more for your comments. I LOVE reading each and every one of them. Happy creating!
