Yesterday I went to Paradise Scrapbook Boutique to crop and celebrate a birthday...mine. I don't have photos yet, but maybe next week.....So, long story short....I was not prepared and ended up dragging a ton of supplies with me, (my husband says....so, what's new?) only to partly finish a project. The one above! But, it was great fun meeting with everyone and having a good play date.
When I got home, I decided it was time to unpack and at least lay out the unfinished project, hoping this would encourage me to get cracking....
So far, the project is patiently waiting and it may have to wait for a few days. Saturday is a play day with Brenda. We're co-hosting a neighborhood block party on Sunday. I need to get busy cleaning house, though my husband says it looks perfect just the way it is...ya right! My September class is sold out, and if I can get my act together, I need to put together another kit for the waiting list. I also need to start thinking about what I'll be taking with me on vacation... maybe a list would help me feel a bit more in control.....Note to self....start a list!
The tennis ball princess is waiting patiently for me to throw some balls for her....I guess if I'm going to get anything done, I need to get her addiction taken care of.
So, off I go....During my lunch break, I'm going to check out WOYWW ....I always enjoy seeing what everyone is working on...even though I don't always have time to comment on the desks.
Have a wonderful week....I'll be back next Wednesday....and maybe even in between...

so funny. Looks like a pretty card. Nice neat desk with plenty of creative room. Happy Belated Birthday. It's always nice to share arting with friends or even strangers that become friends.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my blog post. Have a great and creative day and enjoy your upcoming vacation.
I really like that wedding card - great colour/texture combo, pretty result. Good luck with the list making - it's an ambition of mine to be good at that but I know myself well, it'll never happen...lol !! xx
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Mary! Hope it was a great day. The wedding card and box looks like it's gonna be a stunner, love the mauve and white combo - remember to show the end result. Now go make that list for your hols - once it's done you'll feel more relaxed, unless you lose the list which is my kinda trick!! Di xxx
ReplyDeleteHow strange Mary, I’ve just been looking at that Martha Stewart punch on QVC craft day and very nearly succumbed. I should know better than to watch because there’s always lots of things I really want but don’t necessarily need and so far I’ve managed to resist the urge.
ReplyDeleteI really love your finished card in it’s in my favourite colour too!
Happy Crafting!
