Rudolph Day - July 2014

It's Rudolph Day...well it was on the 25th.  Thankfully this challenge is open until the 31st.  I've had such a busy month and today while finishing up a post for later in August, it dawned on me that my intentions for July's Rudolph Day was quickly slipping away!  So off to my craft room I ran...and yes, I mean ran!

I knew I would need something quick (a word I try not to use as quick usually means takes a long time and nothing goes as planned.  I thought it might be fun to die cut the Memory Box Deer and then emboss it using an embossing folder.  Well, my deer was removed with no antlers, and he was split mid-section.  Making lemonade from lemons, I die cut another deer and carefully reconstructed my embossed deer.  It went together quickly.  I embossed the base, added a ribbon and stamped and cut the sentiment.

Here's the inside.
The inside is pretty much the same, but a little different.  That's how I usually make the insides.  I have everything out so why not finish the card?

Sarn requires two cards....this next card was really simple.
I rubber stamped on glossy photo paper.  I colored direct to stamp.  I used a stamp positioner so I could over stamp it if I needed to.  The inside will be done on my computer.  I will put a typed panel in, as for this card I plan to type a note to the recipient.

I'm going to enter my cards into:  Rudolph Day Challenge, and Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge also  Crafty Hazelnut's Extra Mid-month challenge.  I think my little trees are so cute.  And I've got to say, this card was pretty easy.  I think it will be one I use if I need a card in a hurry.

Off I go for now.  I wish you all a Happy Rudolph Day and I now am closer to having my cards finished.

Rudolph Day, WOYWW and Pixie's Crafty Workshop

I'm going to start by saying 5th Happy Anniversary to Julia and Happy whatever year you began sharing with WOYWW....You've all made Wednesdays so much fun, and Julia, thank you for being the special person you are.  If it weren't for you...Wednesdays would just be Wednesday!

I'll show you my desk in a minute....here is what I made for Rudolph Day!
I wanted to use up scraps, and I wanted to play with techniques.  The inspiration for this card was the striped bottom.  When I turned the paper over, I was thrilled to find the newspaper print on the reverse side.  I wanted to use rubber stamps, stencils, embossed images, dies, and layers.  As you can see I managed to do all of the above.  And here is the inside......
It's not too late, you can add your card to Rudolph Day, but hurry, because the last day of this month is the last day you can play along (at least for this month).

Ok, you've seen the finished project, here's how it all began.....
Not too messy today, and if you are a normal follower, you will notice I'm working  on a different desk.  This is the desk I use when I do my die cutting.  It's also the desk I use when I need to be standing more than sitting and today is that day.

I am going to pop over to Pixie's Crafty workshop and post this card which was made with snippets.  The only piece that might be iffy, is the inside black layer....I had to cut it from an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of black card stock.  Otherwise....All snippets.

Oops!  I think I was one card short on the Rudolph Day Challenge.  See, it pays to read the rules!  So, I ran, and when I say ran, I am not kidding, back to my craft room.  A few months back I made a card I really liked, so I made 3.  I had lots of pieces left, so I put them in an envelope to save for later.... Today became later.....Sarn, I appologize for not having two cards.  So...here is #2.
I added a bit of bling and this card is the same but different.  I'd show the inside, but it isn't quite  finished  and my honey wants me to think about dinner....I guess all the yard work he did while I was playing made him very hungry!  Next month, I will read the directions....I promise!

These are the challenges I entered:
WOYWW - 5th Anniversary
Pixie's Crafty Workshop - Must Use Snippets
Rudolph Day - A Christmas Card

Thanks ladies for hosting these wonderful places to play!

So that's it for me today.  I'm off to see what everyone has been posting.
Happy Crafting,

Oh, where to begin.......

Before I begin, I want to let my friends in the mid-west and south know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  The tornadoes have brought so much devastation to your part of the country.  I pray you are safe.

It's Wednesday and here's what my desk looks like:
Lots of stuff....most needs no explanation, if you are wondering about anything....just ask, I'll reply in the comment section.  And now for the rest of the story.....

I went into my craft room with the honest intention of tiding up a tad.  Well, I spied with my little eye, the red sparkly paper and the Christmas tree I had laying off to the side.  I was  trying to decide what to do to make it a bit prettier.  The next hour is a blur, as my eyes glazed over as I punched little circles from the sparkly paper.  Last week I made a blue card, I think I like it better.  I think I over-decorated this little tree, but, it's still pretty.

So, why a photo of my desk....well, plain and simple, it's Wednesday and loads of us paper crafters, drag out our cameras to take photos of our desks.  Some are neat and tidy, some are showing lots of work going on, and others are piled high with projects in process and projects in the plan.  So, why don't you hop on over to Julia's world and have a look and if you're feeling brave, and I hope you are, why not snap a photo of your world and share it with all of us.  Here's where.... Stamping Ground.   We are up to week 256.  Can you believe it?  Oops....I almost forgot to show you the card....

Like I said, I went to my craft room to tidy up, not mess up....as I was putting things away, I found a silver ornament I'd cut some time ago.  I knew I had one of the silver batch cards I'd been working on and it was in need of a finishing touch....and now this card is finished and it's added to my Christmas card count.....51 and counting.....
I do believe I'll head over and add this to Rudolph Day....tomorrow is the last day to enter this month.  Sarn keeps me keepin on.....Check it out at Stamping For Pleasure.

Keep in mind, I AM cleaning my craft room.  On Monday I decided to take out my bucket of projects that have been sitting waiting to be finished or kits that had snippets left that I planned to make another card,  but never did.  Well, today I managed to finish this one.

It's left overs from a mini album and also a butterfly that I first made from a piece of gold ribbon that I wondered if I could die cut it.  Well guess what, I could....and then I found a tiny piece of mesh...and I wondered if I could die cut it, and I could.  I then cut a backing of vellum, did some gluing and my butterfly was ready for my snippet card and I do believe this card qualifies for  Mrs. A's Glamorous Butterfly Challenge.

Here's the inside....
I've got to say, I outdid myself today, 3 snippet cards, finished and put away.  Ms. Di from Pixie's Crafty Workshop. will be getting a visit from me.  I want to thank Di also for giving me a reason to use up my snippets.   As for my craft room, still not clean, but hey...there is always tomorrow.

I am off to see what trouble I can find....Maybe I'll go through my snippet bucket and organize it.  Who knows, maybe I can make a few more cards before the week ends.

Take care, happy crafting and I do hope all is well in your world.

What Day Is It?

It's Rudolph Day and that means another card is done and waiting for the Christmas mailing.  Thanks to Sarn and her challenge that keeps us all on track.  I've been working on cards that are quick to make and flat, so mailing won't be expensive.  This card is perfect.

The tree stamp is an old one...dates back to 1999, made by Denami Design of Kent Washington.  I don't know if that company is still in existence.   The sentiment is from Stampabilities and is quite a bit newer 2010.  I stamped both in white ink and heat embossed using silver embossing powder.  Using a circle punch, I punched from glitter sticker paper both the dots and the snowflake and decorated the tree. The final step was to glue this 4 x  5 1/4 piece to the front of the card base.  I could have stamped directly to the base, but I wanted to have the extra layer.  The inside will have a direct stamped sentiment.

Monday's are my play day and I play with a group of gals that are so crafty.  I took some cards I'd not finished and also worked on a Morehead design from one of the purchased sheets.  As I finished cutting, shaping and gluing, I looked down at one of the card bases that I'd not yet added snowflakes.  A light bulb went on and here's the finished card....
Ah, another finished Christmas card to share this Rudolph Day!  This will be another card that won't break the bank when I post it.
That's it for this Rudolph Day.  I'm hoping to have several more made before Christmas.  I'm going to head over to Sarn's blog and check out the Rudolph Day projects everyone made.  I hope you check them out too.  Have a look!

Note:  On Wednesday I posted a page from my Christmas  journal.  I've gotten so many comments and emails from people who are "impressed or encouraged" by my journal.  I have to tell you this was my very first project of 2014 and put the final touches on it March 1st.   I created it because I was so "bummed" out during the 2013 holiday season.  I wasn't looking forward to any part of it.  Unknown to us, my husband had been ill, probably for over 6 months, however, being a man he chose to ignore the symptoms and chose rather to internalize his issue by not mentioning the pain.  Rather, he became extremely grumpy and withdrew from everything and everyone.  Suggesting a doctor visit was met with outbursts of "nothing is wrong"  To say the least our home was very quiet and unhappy.  There were no decorations, normally there are many.  The week before Christmas I did manage to put up a 2 foot tall tree, which I lit only once.

Mind you, I'd made cards and I did send a few, but very few.  No Christmas letter, no family email.  Well, long story short.  My husband finally went to the doctor.  His illness was and at times still is gout, which as everyone knows is very painful, and also treatable.  He feels so good now that I can honestly say I have the man I married back and I am thrilled.  Though he is still stubborn and waits too long when the symptoms of gout raise their ugly head, he is finally realizing that feeling good feels great.

In January, I decided that this Christmas would be different.  I created the journal, made a list of people I wanted to send cards to and got to work.  So, for those who are impressed, don't be...I am not organized, and thus....the journal keeps me moving forward.  For those who are encouraged...thank you.  Believe me, I was encouraged by Shaz and Rudolph Day, and I was invited to be on the design team of Sparkles Christmas Challenge.  These two Christmas challenges keep me focused.  I'm amazed with how many cards I've made.  Trust me, several are pretty basic, but I think beautiful.

So now, you know the rest of the story!  Thank you so much for your comments and your interest... you all keep me focused, encouraged and above all impressed by what you create.  That said....

Until next time....

Card Class for May

A card in a box is certainly becoming a favorite.  I've had requests to teach this card and so I shall.  I first saw the card in a box on Di's blog page, Pixie's Crafty Workshop.  So, thank you Di for inspiring me.

My second card is quick and very easy.  The girls will love this one.  I know I do!
It easily converts to birthday, or get well.  I'll bring stamps or if you have a favorite, bring yours.

I was told the class is sold out.  But two lucky people can sign up...I've found enough cardstock to create two more kits.  Let me know if you are interested.  I'll let Karen know.  Reminder to those already signed up.  Class will begin at 1:00 on May 14.  Have you checked out Karen's Blog lately?  How about her Facebook Page?  Oh, what about on Pinterest.  If you go to:  http://paradisescrapbookboutique.typepad.com you can find all the links there.

That's it for now, the 25th  is Rudolph Day...I need to get moving and finish my cards.  Hope to see some of you there.

Off for now....
Hugs from me to you,

Rudolph Day And Pixie's Snippets

It's Rudolph Day and this month.....I am ready!  Today I was cropping with our Monday Group and I worked on my cards for Rudolph Day.
I'm determined to make cards that don't cost an arm and a leg to mail.  This month's card is flat, however since it's 5x5 it will need added postage, but not much extra.  All three were made with snippets, so in addition to Rudolph Day, I'll be posting on Di's blog, Pixie's Crafty Workshop.
Here's an up close view of the inisde and the outside of the first card I made....

Now I could give you the rules for entering your cards with Di and Sarn, but I want you to check out what they and the others have made.  So, check it out please and leave a comment if you find something that inspires you.  We crafters love kind words.

Until next time.....happy Crafting.

Snowing Sweetness On Your Holiday

Today's card was made with bits and pieces....and that's becoming a favorite kind for me.  I was in my craft room tidying up a tad when I saw the red and green pieces just calling my name.  A few days ago,  I'd stamped colored and die cut the globe and image.  Seems the pieces were just laying there waiting for me.  I"m getting in just under the wire with this card.....Rudolph Days here I come! It's fun to have another Christmas card finished.  Only about 50 more to go....yikes!  And I can't forget to hop over and visit Di at Pixie's Crafty Workshop, after all, even the ribbon was a snippet.  Isn't it fun to use up those zillions of pieces we all have laying about?

I'm not sure what papers I used, but I am sure the image is from Poppystamps - it's the Candy House Globe stamp and die, the sentiment is also from Poppystamps.    I colored using my Spectrum Noir pens and now you know the rest of the story.   Well almost.  Here's what the inside looks like.
Nothing spectacular, but it's finished and that's important to me.....and I think ole Mr. Postman will approve.   It is flat, bendable and will meet the one stamp rule....Or at least I think it will!

I'm off for a day of crafting...... I hope your week is filled with joy.....and lots of time to play!

Hugs,

Rudolph Day and Pixie's Crafty Workshop

Can you believe it?  I can't.....It's the 25th of August and I actually have my Rudolph Day card completed....AND.... hold your applause.....I made it completely of scraps.....so, Di is getting a visit from this ole gal!
This didn't photograph as well as I would have liked....lots of glitter on this one, and all white, except for the shiny red nose!  It is Rudolph after all.  Want to see the inside?
I
I'm going to call this a short post.  Brenda is here and I just finished this card.  Now we will go on to play with something else.....Hop on over to Stamping For Pleasure and see all the Rudolph Day entries.  Remember you can post them until the last day of the month.  And then don't forget to visit Pixie's Crafty Workshop to see what all the snippets have turned into.  It's such fun to play along wth these two gals.  Lots of stories and great creations from both.  Seems Sarn isn't the only one thinking about Christmas!  Thanks to both gals for keeping me focused on making Christmas cards.

One more thing...Can you keep a secret?  Keep an eye out for the new releases for the Poppystamps Dies.  You didn't hear it from me, but they are FABULOUS!  I will let you know when they are available.  If I forget, you can always follow along on the Poppystamps blog page.

Ok, so maybe it was two more things....Did you know World Card Making Day is the first Saturday in October?  Put it on your calendar, I'm sure there will be celebrations everywhere.  I'm celebrating by teaching a card class at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique.  I'll be posting the card on September 21....you can see it, here, on the Paradise Scrapbook Boutique blog page and on the Poppystamps blog....What will you be doing on World Card Making Day?

Off I go for now.....See you again soon, (if I get my act together!)

Rudolph Day and WOYWW #217

Hello again.  Here's what I made for this month's Rudolph Day.......
Monday I was enjoying our weekly girls crop/chat/eat/laugh day when Rita calmly said, I finished my Christmas shopping.  Let me tell you we all gasp as we swung around to look at her.  She was merrily working on a Christmas card at the time, and I think she said, and I only have two more Christmas cards to make.....thankfully, I'm not the only one still working on cards, and I must say, I've not begun shopping.  Hello.....it's July (ok, almost August!)  So I shall shuffle along making more Christmas cards and I shall begin thinking about Christmas shopping sometime after Thanksgiving.  That said, I used my newest Memory Box dies.  I know, I'm on the Poppystamps Design Team, which by the way is a child of Memory Box.....I've been in love with Memory Box for a very long time, and this year's Christmas/Winter dies do not disappoint.  I am making cards with my Poppystamps, but it's not my turn to post, so you will just have to wait until later this month.

Here's the inside.....

I'm putting on my Elf clothing and heading on over to see what's been going on over at the Rudolph Day Celebration.  How about joining in the fun.  You meet really fun people, share fantastic creations, and.....get some of those Christmas cards made. Now that's Win - Win....

And now that I'm home, I can play along with What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, which I really missed while I was away.  It doesn't look like much is going on here, but I have been busy catching up with housework, visiting, playing, designing, and paying bills (yuk).  So here's my desk, you can see several rubber stamps, mostly sentiments and then there is the normal stuff.  Oops, I mean treasures!  Check out what others have been playing with, and if you are brave...join in!  Ok, you don't have to be brave, just willing to share a bit of your world!
This is what I used to make my card.  I am determined to learn how to use all the cool tools for posting product, however, at present....I'm just enjoying making cards.

Until later, Hugs to all, Happy Crafting,

Rudolph Day

My incentive for this card is the Rudolph Day Challenge.  This is a great way to get a Christmas card made and have fun doing so.  Check out this challenge over at Stamping For Pleasure.  Sarn hosts this blog and she'd love it if you played along.  You have from the 25th of the month until the last day of the month to get your card made and linked to Stamping For Pleasure. I hope after you check out Sarn's blog, you'll want to play along too.

Today I was very productive.  Amazing...no?  A friend came to play and I decided to work on things that have been sitting on my desk for way too long.  This card started as a House Mouse stamped image that has been partly colored for over a month.  Today I finished coloring the mouse and wanted to put the image on a 1/4 fold card.  Well guess what, it didn't fit.  It was time to think outside the box and I did. The candy canes on the inside of the card originally were on the left side of the stamped image.  I cut it off and it became part of the inside of the card and I added the sentiment.  Wonder why there are red snowflakes?  Under one of them is a smudge....normally I would have used a butterfly, but how would that look with Christmas?  I fussy cut the image on the front of the card and raised it, framed it and you can guess the rest.  This was a fun card to make and making it with a friend while we laughed and chatted made this craft day all the more fun.

I'm off to photograph the other cards I made today.  I hope to get them posted shortly.  Until later,  happy crafting and I'll see you soon.

Hugs,

Rudolph Day

Happy Rudolph Day and for once, I am close to the actual 25th.  When I was putting my two new cards into "storage", it dawned on me that Christmas isn't all that far away.  I know, it's not even summer and I'm talking Christmas....never too early to start....and Sarn at Stamping For Pleasure points us in the right direction.  Well, here's what I've made for this month....
I'm not thrilled with the photo.  The glitter doesn't look all that glittery!  But it is....The card was made from snippets taken from a 6x6 paper pack. It's from  Melissa Frances - Deck the Halls.  I have no idea what year.  The sentiments are from Stampabilities and Stampendous.  The die is Memory Box.  The glitter is Martha Stewart.  And here's the inside....
I finished this card and still had snippets left over.  The up and down side to making kits for classes, lots of snippets are born...so, here is my Rudolph Day second card...and since these cards are both filled with snippets, Di will be getting a visit from me...Actually this week I've been running wild on the playground.  Too much candy maybe....
Two years ago, at PSB Christmas Crop, Karen gave us a sheet of paper that had tons of Santa's - big ones like this and tiny ones.  I glittered all of mine and put them safely away for another day.  Well, almost 600 days went by and finally....here's what I did... and you will notice the sewing.  My friend, Edy will be thrilled!  I used my Sew Easy tool....wanta know how long I've had that in my tool kit?  Wanta know how often I've used it?  Well....I was in Sacramento with friends and I found a ruler made by Sew Easy that actually makes guiding the tool easy....."Sew"...clever no?  I sewed, by hand mind you, using the pierced holes.  Pretty Easy! You may actually see more sewing!  And here is the inside....

Well, if I'm going to get this posted by the last day of the month.....I'd best get going.  Until next time, have a most wonderful and very crafty weekend.

I am playing along at  Stamping For Pleasure - Rudolph Day
You'll find me jumping rope with Di and the gang at - Pixie's Crafty Workshop

Rudolph Day....whew just in time.

Good morning, it's 7:00 AM ish on Easter morning and I am posting this to Rudolph Day.  Talk about getting this done at the last minute.  Well, I'm one card closer to having my cards done for Christmas.  I only have 9 months left to get ready for Christmas....can you believe that....and only 8 more Rudolph Days to keep me on track.  Check out the others who actually are on top of things... Thanks Sarn for keeping me headed in the right direction....Check out everyone's work here.

I'm off for now....going out in the rain to look for Easter Eggs :-)

Rudolph Day and Pixie's Crafty Workshop

Well Happy 10 months til Christmas....or.....Happy Rudolph Day!  Thankfully, I am kept on Christmas Card track by my friend Sarn at Stamping For Pleasure so, here it is another napkin card.  Enough already with the napkins!  Nope, I've got lots more, I just haven't put them together.  Yet another item on my bucket list!

This was fun....The napkin was quite large and I wanted to make this card 6x6....so, I cut all the pieces and put them together on a 6 x6 card.  The background, especially the sky, has a few holes from where I cut the bird and Mr. Snowman is covering a hole where the bunny once lived.   Then I added glitter and lots of it.  The photo doesn't show all it's glittery wonder!   This is what the napkin originally looked like:
I used the border on the inside of the card.  It too was pieced together:
To cover the piecing, I added a Memory Box "Frosty Border" snow die.

I'm hoping this qualifies as a snippet.  I had the snow people ready to go onto a card, when I looked over and saw how unhappy the little bunny was without them.  That's when I decided to close cut all the figures and put them onto one card front.  Di, if I messed up, give me a long time-out on the playground.  I think my time out should be behind the shed...I think I hear lots of giggling coming from there.  Check out Pixie's Crafty Workshop to see what's going on there and tell Di I sent you.

I'm off to play with the girls today.  Always lots of laughing, quietly working, and a little learning.
A bit of exciting news before I go.

Before I go, one more thing....Bridget from Photography and Me found out I'm traveling to Australia.  Guess what, I'm FINALLY going to meet her.  We haven't finalized the plans yet, and we've got 4 months to plan, but it should be fun, even if we only have a short time to visit I'm sure we can cram a lot of chatting into it.  Am I excited?  Wait tell I tell my travel buddy Dee Dee!

Have a most wonderful Monday and let it be the beginning of a fabulous week.

Hugs from a chilling northern California.

Rudolph Day and More Christmas Card Challenges

I feel so smart....It's the 25th....and I have a card made for Rudolph Day.... I think this is a first.  I did cheat a bit.  I put it on the calendar in my Iphone and my little assistant reminded me 2 days early... I love my Iphone...So, here's what I made.  The card stock is Authentique Festive Jolly Collection.

Here's what I did on the inside.  I love double sided card stock, especially when it works well with the front side.  The front of this card stock is what I used on the front of the card.  The back is the stripe.

Karen has been carrying the thin glitter card stock and it cuts like butter in my die cut machine (not that I have cut butter in my die cut machine....so don't try that at home!)  I used my Memory Box Snowflake die, which has tiny little pieces to remove and they came out easily.  The manufacturer is Best Creations....and it's fast becoming a favorite of mine....hey it's Glittered!

Of course there is a Martha punch.  I used the corner punch snowflake because it has a bigger snowflake.

Now, where will I enter this card.....

My friend Sarn always has a great challenge.  If you want to get a head start on Christmas 2013, she's always one to keep me motivated.  Check out her Rudolph Day Challenge.  And it's not too late to play along.

And of course, I used pieces and parts, so.....I'm going to post with Di at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.  Another one of my favorite blogs.  She's always pushing me into my snippet box.

And then there is Christmas Cards All Year Round....anything goes here so long as it's Christmas.  Another great challenge to keep me going in the right direction.....

Hazel always has something fun going on.  And this month is no different.  I'm going to slip on over to Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge and link my card.  And then as if one challenge isn't enough, Hazel has a second one going on too.....that gal, where does she find the energy?  CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra.  I just slipped in there and my goodness the crafters are linking lots of inspiration there.

Tonight when my honey is watching "dumb" TV, I'll be sitting with ipad on lap looking at all the great creations.... if I don't comment, it's because I'm very slow typing on the ipad, but I'm very good at looking...

I'm off to get some kits cut....and then I guess I'll be needing to tidy up a tad....so, before I loose my get up and go....I'd best, get up and go!

Have a great day and a most crafty weekend.
Mary Mac

WOYWW 177 - Carta Bella and Pixie's Crafty Workshop

Saturday was Carta Bella Day at Karen's - Paradise Scrapbook Boutique
Well, here we are.  This is the afternoon group, our project was a  2 page lay-out using Carta Bella Christmas Day papers. (If you haven't seen them, might be worth a look at them)    The morning group ran out before photos could be taken, or more truthful, before we remembered to take them. The big kid in the back is Lindsay, the Carta Bella guy who tried keeping us all in line...I think it might have been easier to herd cats.... we did have a good time!
And here's Karen, I'd like to thank her for bringing Lindsay to her shop.  It was a fun day and we left with loads of goodies....

A few days ago, I posted a photo of a card I made using snippets left from making the Christmas album.  Thanks to Lindsay, I have many more snippets and below are a few of the cards I made using them.  I've gotta say, albums are a great way to collect snippets, not that any of us need help collecting them.  I'll be posting these cards on Di's blog....and I hope to spend some time tomorrow seeing what the others have been doing.  Di reminded me that Thursday is Rudolph Day over at Sarn's blog page.  If I get my act together, maybe I can actually make another card....Oh...I just remembered a new Memory Box die I purchased last week....I'll be making a Rudolph card using that...(that is if I don't forget!)  It's not too late, if you want to play along...

I made this card this morning.  I purchased the Spectrum Noir pens and though I haven't been doing much coloring lately, it's always been something that I've enjoyed doing.  I've got to say, using the pens is different than water color and after watching video's I'm learning to get the colors I was hoping for. I'm still working on shading.  So, about this card.  The papers are from CartaBella, the rubber stamp is from Stampabilities and is called Christmas Tale (not new, from 2003)  The dies are from Memory Box and Spellbinder.  All of these cards are made from snippets,

Do you want to see the mess I made making these cards?  It's Wednesday and it's the day to share our work desks...so, thank you Julia for giving us the place to post our little messy work desks.  Check out the other creative desks and see what was created there....and if you're feeling brave....post your little corner of creativity...
Oh....while going through the blue box, I looked through the lid and saw this.....
I always knew there was someone helping me put my projects together.  I had to laugh, I don't remember putting any of these parts in this order, although I do remember putting the epoxy pieces on the pink pad...do you think maybe, while I was sleeping, the pieces crept onto the paper pad?  OK, I can pretend...

Off I go, tomorrow it's supposed to rain and I'm hoping to get into my room to tidy up, and then make another mess playing with my pens and stamps....

Until next time....Happy Creating!
Hugs to all,
Mary
