Staying At Home Playing Cards

We are still under Stay At Home orders.  My husband and I have been playing cards every day.  It's been nice spending time with him and though often times he has a grumpy face, while playing cards he is relaxed, even when he's loosing.  Yesterday he was even laughing....and it looks good on him.

I have a dear friend who is always thinking of others.  She's an award winning baker and I miss her walking across the street to share her newest creation.  I sat down and needed inspiration for a card.  I thought of Jeri and decided that she would be my inspiration...

I'm sure many of you feel the same way, when I make a card for a person, it's like spending time with that person.  Even though Jeri didn't know I was making this card, I'm sure she could feel the love even though we are hundreds of miles apart.

I don't know anything about the paper.  It was a scrap that was gifted to me.  I love red and white cards.  The House Mouse is a 3x3 stamp, that I colored with pencils and fussy cut.  The flower is part of a Graphic45 tag collection.  The sentiment is also part of the same House Mouse stamp set.

Since this card was made with snippets, I'll be posting it on Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

Well someone keeps coming into my craft room wondering when we would start playing cards.  So off I go for now.

I hope you have time to check out Pixie's Crafty Workshop and if you have time to play along... I hope you do.  It's a fun place to be inspired.

Hugs from my world to yours....

It's Been Awhile

It's been awhile hasn't it?  I think it's time to start again doing what I loved so very much for so very long. In a minute I'll fill you in on what has given me this jump start, or maybe I should say push.  But let me start with a card I made for my son's Birthday.  I've done some fussy cutting on this card and I must say it was fun.  I used an 8x8 Graphic45 paper pad for all the papers used.  A bit ago I joined the Graphic45 monthly kit group and this Kaleidoscope Collection came from that kit.  In the kit was a stamp pad called Color Box Graphic45 Decades.  I didn't have a paper for the sentiment that was the right color, so I colored it using the stamp pad.  I don't know who made the sentiment, it was one a friend shared.  That's it for the inside.  Now lets see what I did for an outside.

I've always liked this birthday die by PoppyStamps, so it was one of the dies I replaced.  When you start to rebuild your stash, you have to think of dies that can be used in several ways and this one fills the bill.  I've never die cut from paper with writing printed on it, but I think this worked.  You don't really notice that it's there, it looks like part of the pattern.  I must say I like the colors and the gold.
Ok, so now on to the real reason I'm posting....I've been working on Thank You cards,  I will share why in a few weeks, but for now I'll give you a sneak peek at a few I've finished.  I've come to realize I am a very slow crafter.  I've known that for awhile but this recent effort has proven yet again.  If I were in a race, I'd most definitely be the tortoise.  Here's what I've been working on.

A friend gave me a 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 paper pad named Blessed by Kaiser Craft.  I thought this would be a great way to use these papers because I am truly blessed.    I'm being pretty vague about the why (many of you will have figured it out) , but I need to give myself time for everything to sink in and to try to figure out how I can explain in words my thankfulness, appreciation, and the love I am feeling. Stay tuned....So I guess I didn't really explain the why.  I guess you will have to stay tuned.

I'm going to enter my son's Birthday card in the Pixies Crafty Workshop.  I can't say the entire card was made from snippets, but a good portion was.

So that's it from me today.  I best get busy....I know I've said before I hope to post more often, and that is a hope.  So, until next time......Love and hugs from me to you.

Merry Almost Christmas

In October I saw a card on the Graphic45 Blog, showing the winner of the September project of the month.  The winner was Karien van der  Westhuizen.  I love her card and thought I'd give it a try.  Here is the link if you'd like to see Karien's card. - Graphic45 Blog  on to my version of Karien's card.  I used Graphic45 card stock - Winter Wonderland collection.  The dies I uses are from Impression Obsession DIE100-F, and DIE106-S.  I also used Poppystamps dies 1648, 1967, and 1050.  The sentiment is Penny Black 30508.  The base of my card is craft and I used gold mirror card stock for frames and cutting the dies.

Here is the outside of my card:

This card is being shared on the Sparkles Christmas Challenge.  I hope you have a minute or two to check out what the other members of the design team have created.  And I hope you have time to post your lovely creation.  We all enjoy seeing what you've created.  Have a look here.

Can you believe our next cards will be posted in 2019?  Wow!  Happy Crafting....see you soon.

Hugs from my world to yours.  And if I don't get back before the holidays - HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Christmas On My Mind

Happy Saturday everyone.  I'm thinking Christmas lately....I wonder why. Maybe it's the turning of the season....or maybe it's just looking at the calendar.

A bit ago, I was watching Jennifer McGuire make what she called the inside Shadow Box Card.  I'm attaching a link where Jennifer gives directions for this easy to make card base.  Check out the directions here.    If you aren't familiar with Jennifer, she is one of the best.  Her videos are easy to follow.

My card was made using Graphic45 Winter Wonderland card stock.  i used Kraft card stock for the base and gold mirror card stock for the sentiment and to frame the decorative papers.  The sentiment is Penny Black #30-508.  The Merry Christmas is from Poppystamps #1105.  A little fussy cutting and the inside is finished.  The Sentiment tag is removable as you'll see in the next photo.

And now for the outside of my card.

The same paper line was used for the outside of this card.  My joy die and stamp is Poppystamps #CL467.  This die and stamp set is fast becoming a favorite of mine.  Mostly hidden is a Poppystamps die that at present is on loan, I can not remember its name.

Well that's it for now.  It's time to clean up my mess so I can start another one!

Heads Up, I'm having a problem commenting on anything blogspot....a problem that is baffling many.  I just want you to know, I am looking at your pages, I just can't tell you how wonderful your creations are.  I hope an answer can be found soon.

Until next time, Happy Crafting and Hugs from my world to yours.

Kissed By The Sun

This will be a really short post.  I made my first card using this format and posted it on Monday.  I enjoyed this format so much I've made another and I have an idea for yet another card that I will make before Christmas and share on the Sparkles Christmas Challenge.

This card was made using the Graphic45 Sun Kissed Collection.  Fussy cutting and stickers decorated this card.  I love how summery this card is and the beach is where I'd like to be in all this California heat.

Here's what the outside looks like....

This format is like a party in a card.  I love it!

As promised, this is a short post....time to get  busy cleaning house before it gets too hot.

Until later,
Hugs from my world to yours....

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #88

This card is a quick make and I made it from lots of bits left over from other projects.  If you read my post from the 28th you already know why I needed another card and quickly.  This card is for the Sparkles Christmas Challenge and the theme was chosen by Lynne and it is you must have a Reindeer.

I used Graphic 45 papers and a Poppystamps sentiment.  The frames were also cut using a Poppystamps die - Double Stitched Rectangle.  I found some gold and while bits to cut frames to embellish the frames I'd already cut.  I am loving my newest frame dies.  And the thin pieces fit perfectly.

I hope you find time to enter the Sparkles Christmas Challenge.  I look forward to seeing what you've created.

Happy Crafting and Hugs from me to you,

Happy Spring

Today I'm playing with paper and celebrating Spring.  I like fussy cutting and this card is most certainly a fussy cut creation.  I used the Graphics45 Season's Collection.  I made this card for my sister, Becky.  Winters in the mid-west can be harsh and Spring is a season everyone looks forward to.  She looks forward to getting outside and playing in the yard.  I thought of her as I planted my paper garden.

I'm looking forward to making tons of card for all the seasons with my 12x12 paper pack.  To make my card, I cut pieces from these papers.....

The piece I used from this page should be pretty easy to find...The framing piece might be a bit more difficult...Just think pieces and parts....Do you see it?

My bird graphic should fly right out at you.....did it?  And Bless This Nest....How ever did it get below the nest?

And then I added bits and pieces from this page and did a bit more fussy cutting from the two previous pages and I think my card is finished and almost ready to mail.

I just needed to finish the inside..... Nothing fancy,  and room to write a note.  Of course I had to add a die....this one is from Memory Box, it's an older one, but much loved.  It is the Valencia Border and it is from 2012

For my local followers....if you want lovely spring and March papers and embellishments....check out Paradise Scrapbook Boutique which is located inside Ever After on the Skyway....

Until Next time....Happy Crafting and Happy Spring!

Let's Make it a Krafty Christmas

It's time to Sparkle....well it's Sparkles Christmas Challenge and this month Jane picked a fun theme.  A Krafty Christmas.  Your card must use kraft paper.  I'm using the kraft card stock for my base and also for layers.  On the outside I ran the kraft stock through a Christmas Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I thought it needed a bit more dimension.  The decorative papers are all from the Graphic45 St. Nicholas collection.  They all were pieces left over from making Christmas cards and decorations.  I'm using pieces from the 8x8 and 12x12 paper pads.  I've framed them with the solid green pieces and used Tim Holtz Distress inks to outline the papers.  After doing a test layout, I thought it might be nice to add a bit of sparkle.  I outlined the decorative papers using Stickles Mercury Glass.  Well, that's the outside and now for the inside.

It's pretty much a repeat of the outside.  I did add a stamped Sentiment using my favorite Christmas sentiment.  It's from Stampability.  That's it.  Pretty simple really and a great way to use up all those bits and pieces .  You will probably see many of this type of card as I have many bits and pieces to use.

Now it's your turn....Create a Christmas project using kraft somewhere on your creation and link it on the Sparkles Christmas Challenge.  All the rules (and there are only a few) can be found on the Sparkles site.  I'll be looking in to see what you've made!

Until next time....Happy Crafting.

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #70

I can not believe how fast the year is going.  I guess when you go on vacation from the end of August through the first week in October, time slips by, in the joy of spending time with family and friends.  I was celebrating Birthday #70..... My kids wore me out, I went to 2 SF Giant/Cubs games.  I was so impressed with the Cubs fans.  They treated me so well, even though I was wearing the SF Giants Jersey my kids had given me.  My Mid-west daughter Amy and my Son Damon took great care of me.  I was so pleased to be able to spend time with both of them and their families.  My niece Paula hosted a family get-together  and it was fun seeing everyone.  My sister, Becky, kidnapped me and we were able to spend time together. That was great fun as we've not had sister time in a long time.  My California son, Dan joined us and we spent time with family, which is always great fun.  Then I went to Colorado to spend time with my friend Dee Dee and she had a week to wear out even teens.  Then home for a day and off to San Francisco to spend a week with my son Dan.  It was wonderful having 3 of my 4 kids together.  My Aussie son Aaron and family were with me in spirit and I was happy to spend some internet time with them.  It was especially nice to be able to FaceTime while my granddaughter Bridget and her horse Smarty were in a competition.  My kids are so spread out, it's wonderful having FaceTime and UpClose time with all of them.

Back to business..... this month, Sparkles Christmas Challenge, is sponsored by Sandra H.  Thanks Sandra for the fun challenge and The great gift from  Buzzcraft Clear Rubber Stamps x2....yup x2.  It's easy to play along.  Create a card using the monthly theme.  This month Holly and Ivy.  Add your creation to the Sparkles Challenge and you just might win.  Want to see what you could win?

Aren't they the sweetest stamps?  I love them.  Get busy.....show some ivy and holly......

Here's what I did to make my card.  First, I must say, this card was so easy.  I was beginning to feel challenged by the theme, then I went to my new Graphic45 paper and within 5 minutes I had everything cut and ready to put on my card.  I think this was the easiest card I've ever made.

Here's the inside:

The base of the card is craft paper, the frames are a dark brown card stock and all of the decorative paper came from the 8x8  Graphic45 card stock pad - St. Nicholas collection.  The Merry Christmas is an Impression Obsession die #DIE233-M.

That's it for me this month.  Until next post.  Happy Crafting,

Autumn Splendor Challenge

I could not help myself....I had to play along.....
Autumn/Fall is my favorite time.  The temperatures are cooling down (well, usually but not this year) the trees are sporting beautiful leaves in glorious colors.  I was at my local Scrapbook store... you know, Paradise Scrapbook Boutique, and Karen just received a new line of Graphic45 papers.  I found one with lots of graphics and decided to cut one and frame the pieces.  So that's my focal graphic.  Then, I added my favorite Poppystamps leaf dies, see them peeking out from behind the graphic?  And I needed to say Happy Halloween, so I used a Memory Box Border, which I cut to fit the 1/4 fold card.  I added some ribbon a bit of leaf confetti and the outside is done!

And the inside could not have been easier.  My buddy Mary Jane gifted me some 6x6 paper, which is what I used for the background both on the front and inside.  A little rubber stamp witch and some bling and the inside is complete.

I love the monthly challenges and I think you will love playing along.  You could win a super prize, so, how about joining in.  It's easy!  Check out how:  Right Here!  For a bit of inspiration and the rules check out what the Design Team has created.

That's all for now,  Have a super crafty week,

A Fun Just Because Day

Good morning and Happy Crafting Day.... I have to say it's fun to make a card just because you were inspired by the papers.  I won a 12x12 pad of Graphic 45 Home Sweet Home Collection paper during the National Scrapbook Celebration at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique.  I was excited by the papers in the pad and thought how fun it would be to use them for a Hello card.  This card made me think of my friend Edy, who is quite the quilter.  I on the other hand only quilt on paper.  A sewing machine is not my friend.

So here's my quilt...and I wanted to leave tons of room to write a hello to whoever might receive this card.  Of course the Poppystamps hello makes a great sentiment.  The other die cut pieces are from Avery Elle dies.  If you didn't already know, I am a die-aholic.  Do you think?  Anyway, it was fun creating this card just because.

Here's what the inside looks like.  Nothing fancy here....

Well, I'm off to help my friend serve treats during intermission at the  Spring concert at Paradise Performing Arts.  So, off I shall be going.

Until next time, Happy Crafting and Hugs from me to you,

A Crafty Christmas

It's Jo's month to Sparkle and for her theme she has chosen:  Use a Craft Card.  Which is what I did....can you see it?  It's the base for my card and an extra bonus, I used nothing but snippets.  I love being able to make use of what I have.  The papers are from and 8x8 Graphic45 Christmas collection.  I liked the graphic, but, I wanted to make it just a bit different, so....I cut the brown decorative border away, outlined the graphic in gold and then glued all the pieces to another piece from the Graphic45 collection.  I added the die cut sentiment, which is one of my favorite Poppystamp dies.

And here's the inside....
Lots of craft card stock and then bits left over from scraps from the front of the card.  Another Poppystamp die, and a favorite sentiment from Stampabilities.

I showed you what I've made and now it's your turn.    You could win a fabulous prize....but not if you don't enter.......Check out all the fabulous makes the Sparkles Design Team created and then don't forget, we love seeing what you've made.

This month's sponsors are:
Fantastic Ribbons - a $10.00 voucher
Crafty Sentiments - 3 digi stamps

I'm excited to see what you create.....

Until next time....Happy Crafting,

Hugs from Me to You!

Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge and But of Course Di's Snippet Challenge

Check out my sidebar....you can now follow on email.  I'll tell you more below....

Two of my favorite blogs to follow are Pixie's  Crafty Workshop and Mrs. A's Butterfly Challenge.  When I can make one card that fit the criteria for both I am extremely happy!

Today....I am extremely happy!  But before I share that happiness, I want to say thank you to everyone who has been commenting on and joining my blog.  Yesterday a young lady named Jean joined as a follower.  What makes me so pleased is Jean said she wished she could follow me via email.  Thank you Jean for pushing me into trying to figure out how...And guess what, I can't believe how easy it was.  I'm from the generation of don't push buttons you don't know what could happen.  Well, this button made me very happy and my machine did not blow up!  (giggling here).  So again, Thank You Jean!

Now back to the challenge(s)  at hand.  Mrs. A's challenge is to make a card using stripes and dots.  So, this is what I made.  These are all scraps from an album I made using Graphic45 Secret Garden collection.  I just noticed this....even my ribbon has stripes...I used the ribbon to mute the pattern behind it.  My dots are sequins that I've had for quite some time.  I think, though they are light in color, they add dots of sparkle on this card.  Even the little butterfly got into the act.  She too is sporting sequins.  The graphic was a happy accident.  It is actually the reverse side of a piece I'd originally thought about using as my background.  If you click on the photo it will enlarge and you can see the sequins much better.  And I really like the wording on the graphic.  Di's challenge is to use up scraps and even the ribbon was a scrap,

Now, on to the inside....
Snippets again, The butterflies were just from borders that I kept.  Not enough paper to do much more than punch butterflies.  These butterflies were punched using the Martha Stewart punch with the 3 butterflies.  The piece behind the sentiment wasn't big enough of course I realized this after I'd glued it down...so, the left side was a piece of trim I'd saved from another project.  Not perfect gluing, but pretty close.  There is sequins here too.

Valery and Di always give me reason to use bits and pieces.  I have to say, sometimes it's a challenge to use up those snippets and not cut into a full sheet.  I must say I'm also challenged to use patterns that I would not think would work together, but you know what?  I think they do.  In addition to being brought up in the don't touch that generation.  I've also been brought up to not mix patterns.  Hey, if the Queen can do a photo bomb....I can mix patterns!  Love this photo:
Thanks JayDetaylor for being in the right place at the right time and having a camera!

Well, that's it for me today.  I'm going to try to get a card done for Rudolph Day....If that's going to happen, I'd best get my act together.

Hugs from me to you,
Mary Mac

Celebrating Wednesday on Sunday and Sunday on Sunday

Does that make sense?  Ok, On Wednesday I took a photo of my desk, I kissed my honey good bye, he's on a trip to So Cal.  Then I waited for the girls to come to play.  An play we did We played on Wednesday, I worked on the mats on Thursday and did all the wild animal feeding and watering on Thursday...then on Friday Virginia and Cathy and I played again.  Today I'm playing blog catch up and tomorrow, guess what....the girls are coming to play again....I guess when the cat's away, the little mice will play....so, here's what I did this morning:
I love the Graphic 45 papers, Karen got them in and I think the little goblins started purchasing them immediately...I know this goblin did!  I used a portion of this paper, (which if filled with lots of pieces and parts) to make another project....I was using the back side, which is a starry sky and almost cut this little girl...oops!)  The leaves are Jolee Epoxy stickers that I've had forever...ok, maybe only half of forever!

The inside is more pieces and parts and more epoxy leaves.  I cut the word boo using my BossKut Gazelle.  I think the girls on Di's playground will enjoy this card.  After all, I think everyone is beginning to feel a bit of fall in the air and turning their minds toward Halloween....Check out Pixie's Crafty Workshop if you haven't already!  Shhh....you'll have to wait until tomorrow to check out the playground post for this week...seems I just might get caught trying to slip under the fence.  Is that Mrs. A and Sarn hiding behind that tree?  (ok, for those who haven't been to the playground, you might just think I've lost my mind....Play along and you'll see I haven't!)

So, now on to the photo from Wednesday...My intentions were so very honorable on Wednesday, I was kissing my honey goodbye and heading to the computer to post on What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday....I was distracted by a shiny object and all of a sudden, it was Sunday,  I apologize to Julia for being so late....This is what my desk looked like on Wednesday morning....
Not too impressive is it....well, here's the counter:
I'm rushing to cut this bat and pumpkins before the girls arrive.  The Design is one I downloaded from Little Scraps of Heaven.  When I assemble him, I'll post the finished bat, but don't hold your breath, I've got lots of projects going right now....

Here's what we'll be cutting today.  Virginia has plans for all these pieces and Kathy and I are part of the prep and cut team....This layout is from Scrapping Bug Designs, which is another on-line source.

And now, a sneak peek at what's in the bag.  Everything has been purchased, I'm telling you there is at least $60.00 worth of product....There's still time to enter, and some of the girls have entered every day.....The closing for entries is September 1lth, with the drawing on September 12th.  So watch for your name to be drawn.  Check out past posts to see the rules.....Good luck everyone!  I should call this my 3rd Year Guilt Ridden Blog-aversary....I had intentions of giving a gift each year, but then...guess what, it didn't happen, so, I'm combining 3 years into one fantastic give-away.  Most of the items are from Paradise Scrapbook Boutique, my hometown favorite (actually it's in Chico now, but only a short drive away!)  Karen kept the same name, because after all, it's Paradise to shop there!  I love shopping there and when the winner receives the package, she'll (or he'll)  know why!

Sorry...the photo isn't so good, but I think you'll get the idea....

Off to play, my honey comes home tomorrow and I need to get all my playing done so I can clean up my mess, throw a bit of flour on my face and pretend that I've been slaving in the house for days!

Wishing everyone a most creative week!

Gotta Love Them Snippets....right?

I was beginning to think I'd never get back to posting and I've been absent from linking to my two favorite blogs....I'll tell you why, but before I do.  If you haven't already met Di....you need to check out her blog now.....why?  Because she has a weekly challenge that challenges us to use our snippets, you know those pieces and parts that seem to keep growing in our "someday" box.... Today, I was looking at Papercraft Magazine (September/October) and on page 35 saw a card by Ashley Newell.  I saw snippet written all over it.  So, off I went to dig through my snippet box and I found the butterfly paper.  The stripe is from the back side.  The burlap is from another project and there was enough to do the inside too....The craft stock and the flower are left from the album I've been working on (you'll see that below).  I'm happy.  I may change the Happy Birthday to Thinking of you...I have a friend that would love this card.  She just had a birthday and I'm sure isn't ready for another one.   So...that's my snippet for this week.

Ok....so, on to my offering for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday  Julia always has something going on and this week is no exception.  I had great intentions to post on Wednesday, but I was making a trip into town to cloths shop for my honey, then teaching a class followed by water aerobics and then an evening of watching the Olympics.  So...to make a long story short, I ran out of hours in Wednesday.  But....here's my desk......well one of them.  Seems I make a mess in one spot, move to another and then end up in the family room making yet another.  I guess I know where my grand daughter gets her traveling mess from...  Anyway, here's one of the desks.....
Now don't I look organized.... note, you're not seeing the real mess....

Now on to why I've been absent from Blogsville....I told you about an album I am making.  Well, with the exception of adding bling and embellishments, oh, ya and photos...I finished it.  Check out Paper Phenomenon and see all the great projects she's done.  You can do them too.... So....here's where I went to find out about Kathy  and....here's what I made.  I apologize for the photos, it's hard to show the album, but this will give you an idea of what it looks like....
I used Graphic 45 - A Ladies Diary.  I purchased the 12x12 paper pad and used only them for the covering of the base pages..  That was a challenge to use 3 or 4 patterns on each page.  But you know what....I like it....
Now I just need to put on the finishing touches.....before I move on to another album....

I don't know how involved in the Olympics you are, but I must say, I'm obsessed.....I've been watching everything, I'm so proud of all the people who have taken part.  What a fantastic job Great Britain has been doing....they are the hosts with the most that's for sure.  The other day I was watching the balance beam....and I snapped this photo....what strength....
Ok....I had to do it.....I'm calling it backyard Olympics.  I think he sat there for about 10 minutes just enjoying his lunch.  I don't think this would be the most comfortable way to eat, but he seems to be enjoying his peanut....

Off I go....you have a wonderful week.....I hope the weather is wonderful where you are.  It's still hot and getting hotter here.

Hugs to all,
Mary (AKA:  Glitter Grammy)

Counting Down To Christmas - My Favorite Tag

It's hard to think of Christmas when the weather is warm, we in Northern California are experiencing a very warm early winter.  The rain we normally see this time of the year is traveling up an over us.  Christmas day is supposed to be sunny and warm.  I was humming "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" as I put up my tiny village....At least inside my home it's Christmas!

Shopping done, the gifts are wrapped, the house is decorated, the Christmas letter sent....now I need to think about baking.  Thankfully my friend Leesa gifted me with a Wonderful lemon poppy seed cake ( Weight Watcher points 7 per piece) and pumpkin bread.  I did make peanut brittle, but do need to make more and maybe if I get the lead out.....I'll make cookies.  When you are trying to watch what you eat, you tend to keep baking at a minimum.

I spent hours on this little gift tag.  It started as a Graphic 45 Challenge, which I did not finish in time, so, I kept working on this little piece and I've got to say.....I like it.  The graphic is from Graphic 45's Christmas Emporium Collection 8x8, the sleigh is a Spellbinder die that I don't use often, but love it when I do.  The little gift box that fell from the sleigh I made...Gotta say, I like it!  I cut the toys from the Graphic 45 paper and placed them in the sleigh along with tree branches and candy canes.  My intent was to make a tag that would be saved and used in later years as an ornament.

The girls are taking a break from Christmas prep and we're doing our morning walk.  Today Rosie, Carolyn's puppy is taking her virgin walk with the group.  Shasta, Marsha's dog, will be her mentor.  Shasta is the best behaved dog and we are hoping she will be a roll model for Rosie.  Mind you, my two aren't going.  They are not good roll models!

I'm hoping to spend my evening with a cup of hot chocolate (or two)  and a visit to all the folks participating in the Stamping-Ground WOYWW.  There I always find  incredibly talented folks that play along every week.... if you have time....check them out here.

Off I go for now.  I don't think I'll be posting again before Christmas....so.....I'm wishing each and everyone a most blessed Christmas and a very, very Happy and Healthy New Year.

UPDATE:

A quick update.  We took photos of Rosie's first walk, like a proud Auntie, I just have to share them.  She was sooooo very good, and Shasta is a very good roll model.  I'm so glad the walk went well, it will make Carolyn's life much less stressful knowing her little girl had a good time.
